Street45 1-4 Cerous FC
Street45 dominated de game at 1st. but after a costly mistake by me, opp went up by a goal. fd equalised by a fantastic header fed by a corner. den freekick to cerous. well taken, feeding 2 men to de net at de far post. i managed to reach dere but too late to do anything. 1-2 cerous. half-time.
cerous throw-in. captain syafiq din realise tt dere was no offside during throw-in. i tot he knew n he had de guy covered. de throw went to supposedly offside cerousian to slot in a simple goal past me as i was indecisive in de 1-on-1. not lik how i used to be. 1-3. last goal was a gd shot, though i could have saved it. i was too slow in de dive. crap. after tt goal, i was subbed out. sub goalie, ken did a magnificient job shutting out 3 shots. but it was too late to change anything. too late to change de damage i did. final scoreline, 1-4 in favour of cerous fc.
i knew i could've done better. i could've prevented all de goals.
goal 1) i could have remained calm. stop de ball. bring it into my box n used my hands
goal 2) could've went out earlier to prevent de cross from connecting to de open men
goal 3) could've informed syafiq of the offside rule being invalid during a throw-in. even so, more confident in my 1-on-1
goal 4) could've been quicker in my dive
dere were a few thing i disliked abt myself. but i have unhappiness abt others too.
referee: indecisive, asking for players opinion, did not apply backpass rule. it was a waste paying him.
street45: after de match, every1 wanted to quit 11-a-side grass-pitch football jus bcos we lost our 1st 2 matches. come on guys! it's only 2-matches.
Ashburton FC lost their 1st 4 matches but they still persevered. n now, they're a great team. we cant quit jus bcos we lost our 1st 2 matches. n de teams we lost to were experienced teams. Ashburton has played more than 25 matches. n Cerous has been arnd for more than 2 yrs! we're still fresh n if we carry on playing, we're bound to improve. we can do it!
